The following comments are in no way directed at the VFP development team - bless you guys.
Iv'e been disgusted with Microsoft marketing practices for a
long time and not just about issues concerning VFP. There is an ever-increasing number of folks who feel the same way and it
will eventually put a strain on their bottom-line.
Why? People don't trust them anymore and are eager to jump on alternative products that show promise (e.g. Linux). And,
NO (for those reading this who work for Microsoft), this is not a case of
sour grapes, but the result of decision makers
finally getting off their asses and learning how to do their job without
depending on Microsoft to tell them what to do.
The problem is that they think they are an island up there on the Microsoft campus and they want everyone to think the way they do and cannot understand why everyone doesn't.
I guess I'll never be allowed to be a MVP - oh well.
>Pathetic. Pardon me for saying so, but if that's the case then I'm disgusted with M$. If any company on this Earth should have their act together I would think it would be the richest one. Maybe I'm wearing the proverbial "rose colored glasses", but Bill has a few extra dollars laying around, you'd think he could afford to hire people who could keep themselves "in the loop"!
