I am using Oracle 8 with vfp 5.0a and it works fine. There are some field changes you need to make -- like Oracle doesn't know what to do with the Logical data type, I use Numeric (1) and then 1 for true and 0 for false.

Oracel has its own indexes, the CDX is just for VFP tables -- shouldn't be an issue.

What errors do you get, is is NULL type errors, true/false versus 1/0 type error?
