>Coming from 2.6 now useing vfp 6.0 am I doing this correctly. I made a config.fpw and included it in my project under the other tab as a text file and when I start my exe and keep it up and running I can see my temp files. What I like to do is have a routine to check this location and if any temp files exist delete them. In dos I would add
>a line in the autoexec.bat file to do this. So my question is If I have any existing temp files before my app starts I would like to delete them.

Are you writing the files yourself? If so, why? I don't know of anything that we do in any VFP app that would make it necessary for us to create and manage temp files... Windows should do this for you. And if the temp area is shared by another program, you may cause more problems than just leaving any files out there.
