You have the right idea basically. First off, let me make sure I understand the whole scenario. It sounds like:
User supplies some value used to select records from a table into a cursor.
You want to display those records in a page.

Why do you need to pass a cursor from page to page? I'm probably just not understanding the whole scenario, fill me in please!
