It sounds like you want to use your existing VFP front end to connect to a remote data source via the internet. If this is want you want to do, look into RDS, it is part of ADO. With it you can call methods on a VFP COM object located on a web server(best way) or query a database directly via ODBC. Also, look into the VFPCOM utility, you can get it at the MS VFP site, you will need it to convert to and from ADO recordsets.
