I have a Foxpro 2.6 app using Format Files for Definition screens. Now I need to make a change to one of the screens which involves activating another window in a valid or when for one of the fields in the .FMT file. The problem is that when I do this the items from the FMT file appear in the new window. How can I pop up a new window with a SET FORMAT active and not have the format appear when I issue the READ?
