I have done this [barcode printing to a DM printer]. I experienced problems with reading the barcodes unless the printer ribbon was kept reasonably fresh. If draft quality was used, the ribbon definitely had to be good. Different font sizes were not a problem either. There are 3rd party vendors that provide barcode capability from within VFP.
