Hi Sylvain,
Anything that I had read about BackOffice 4.5 seemed to say that NT Server (5 users) license and product were included in the package.
On the other hand, once I received it there were conflicting statements about needing to install on an existing NT system/ installing NT first/ will destroy any operating system and all files on the target machine.
Upon more reading I concluded that there was far more to BackOffice than a simple install, so I elected to put it aside until I have adequate time to deal with it more carefully.
But on this issue I am still confused, so I hope that someone who has installed it on a non-NT machine comes forward to confirm things (and maybe say what it took to get it done).
Cheers,
jim n
>Thanks for the clarifications Paul, I searched MS site and I didn't see a mention that NT Server was included.
>I bought Visual Studio Enterprise edition yesterday from my local vender. I'm assuming the NT Server is part of the package. I phoned Microsoft to confirm that. MS told me that Backoffice Server 4.5 developer edition part# 628-00141 does include NT Server 4.5.
