>I am trying to call a test procedure in VFP6 from VB6 using ADO and the VFP ODBC driver. I specified the command type either as stored procedure or text (SQL statement) and tried numerous variations of the command like "ProcName", "CALL ProcName", "{ CALL ProcName }" etc.
>I get one of the following VFP ODBC-driver errors:
> 1. Access violation or syntax error.
> 2. Syntax error.
>The procedure itselt does not do anything. It merely returns a numeric value.

The VFP ODBC driver does not support stored procedures.
