There are tons of ways to do this. Some ideas:
- when going into edit mode on page1 issue a THISFORM.PAGE2.DISABLE
or
- in the click event of page2, display a messagebox asking the user if they want to save their changes on page1

When the client is ADDING a record (or editing) which is heavily controlled by an edit button and enabling/disabling fields, I have one client that keeps clicking on the tab and getting totally confused.
