Yes, I had read the stuff that I could find on the CDs. I simply had found conflicting/confusing information. As I also said, way too much to work through at this time.

And the restriction that you mention for creating the diskettes seems problematic to me, in a general way. But I guess that I'll have no problem creating them on my Win98 system, so it shouldn't bother me.

>Hi Jim, I'm not sure how you would do the install if you had no o/s at all. You still have to be able to access the cd-rom. If I remember correctly (and at my age that's not always a valid assuption!), I used the boot disks from my retail copy of NT Server to get started.
