Has he reinstalled the aplication? Did you sent him the Visual Studio Service Pack # 3?

>I have a user who all of a sudden can not get into the exe. He gets the error 'This program has performed an illegal operation'. Is this usually data related or Windows related (I know that this is a Windows Error)? He says that he did not have any power outages or brownouts. I am having him send me a backup of his data.
