No problem, you can do it 3 ways.
1. Click on Users Currently in Forum icon (with heads) and if the user is currently on-line just click on similar icon in the grid to send a private message.

2. If the user is off-line do UT Search for him click on his name (it will bring the User Info screen) and the first link there is Send a Private message

3. Click on the person's name in any his message - then see # 2.
