English and French are both official languages in Canada, so in Canada you are supposed to get the service in both languages everywhere ( Web included :)
French is the main language in province of Quebec, and neighbouring province of New Brunswick is officially bilingual province (at least it means that all road signs also are in both languages :)
French people settled in Quebec long ago - in early 17-th century.

But some of Canadians speak English and Russian ( like me, for example... :)
