Yeah, many places - here in Nova Scotia the first settlement was French (fort Habitation, now Port-Royal) and there is Fortress of Louisbourg in Cape Breton. And Grand-Pre where the people were expelled from in 1755. I see it every time when I go up in the glider... :)
