And when they were trying to come up with a name for the country, the Prime Minister decided to put all the letters of the alphabet in a bag and draw out letters one-at-a-time. They had a Newfie write down the results. When the first letter was drawn, the PM said, "C, eh?". The second letter, "N, eh?". The third letter, "D, eh?". The Newfie, jumped up and said, "That's it! Canada! C - A - N - A - D - A!" :)
