Have you defined the Window you want to set the message to first ?
In my application the
"SET MESSAGE WINDOW [WindowName]"
works fine if the Message window is defined.
Or would
"SET MESSAGE TO [nRow [LEFT | CENTER | RIGHT]]"
do the job for you ??
