To access SQL files in FPW2.6 you will need the Connectivity Kit, which is purchased separately. It has a library with the SQLCONNECT, SQLEXEC, and other commands.

When accessing SQL database tables, one does not generally retrieve the whole table, but rather only the needed records. Consequently one does not usually run into problems with the 2-gig file limit in FoxPro.
