Dave,

There is no simple or fast.

1. If you stay in FoxPro you can keep your data with little or no conversion, and you can keep some of the xBase code. Your FPD skills can be enhanced by a class in VFP.
2. If you go to Oracle with a VFP front end, you will have to convert some of the data, plus write much the same front end as in choice #1.
3. If you move entirely to Oracle, you will need to entirely re-create the app, the data, and learn a new programming platform. (Unless you already know PL/SQL.)
