Yes, VFUG is helpful (as was FoxPro Advisor for *this* case).

BUT, what about getting VFUG to pressure MS to seriously UPGRADE their documentation??

IT IS, after all, A MS RESPONSIBILITY!

You wouldn't believe what I have been going through to get some BASIC questions answered regarding OLE and Application Servers! Yes, I have asked here, and really got minimal information. WHY. . .
because it it so poorly documented, that's why. Even MS sites have only old OLE1 stuff, generally.

Some people argue that the VFP documentation is far better than it used to be for FPD or FPW. Well, if you take a good hard look at it you soon see that that is a totally erroneous statement! The original FPD/FPW stuff is still there, almost verbatim, and almost all of the new VFP stuff is so poorly documented as to be worthless. Sure, many of the words appear in the content/index, but when it actually says nothing behind it, what real use is it?
