I second that... When I was in Secondary 5 (11th grade, last of HS in Quebec), we had a course called "20th century history"... We just called it "American takeover preparedness" since most of the time (about 60-70% of it) was spent on learning about the U.S.'s history, states and capitals of each state. good thing we learned that, since I can only recall a few, the ones that are clues in crossword puzzles!
