I was making a silly reference to the Quebec sign laws, which, probably to a lot of people, seem about as silly as making web sites use fonts of a smaller size.

Though I must admit that there is no web site font rule, it's doesn't seem all that unlikely!

I did follow the news reports of one company that had its web site shut down because they did not have a french language version as well.

That seems rather undemocratic, even if Canada is not a democracy.
