It puts emphasis on doing what you like to do, instead of what you get paid the most for.

If everyone just did what they liked to do, who's going to be motivated to do the things that NEED to be done? There are a lot of jobs that just wouldn't get done if there weren't some real motivation (ie. money) to do them.
