Ohhhhhhhh...that explains the trouble I was having a few weeks ago when I tried to learn how to use updateable views (I gave up). Will try again sometime. Thanks!

>Don't use the table. When you use a view, the base tables get opened automatically. If you also use the table, you'll run into problems/confusion.
