So far, so good! It definitely loads and runs faster. Now one more small detail. The background color of the FILEMOVE.AVI provided with VS is PINK...and I can't get it changed to gray to match the form colors. Other than modifying the avi itself, is there a way to change it? I have tries this.oleobj1.displaybackcolor and forecolor, but it ignores it. And trying to change the color in the properties sheet is blocked....
