Greetings and Salutations!

I strongly suspect that I'm doing something so obviously wrong that I will suffer tremendous embarassment when one of you point out where I have gone astray.

I have a listbox whose control source is several fields of a table. There are many pages of data, and the MultiSelect property has been set to true. There is a method attached to the MouseUp method to display information based on whatever the user has finished selecting. The table in question is SCAN ENDSCAN'd during this method but I am saving and restoring the record number and TopItemID property before I do this.

On the very first (or if you prefer top) page of the listbox this works perfectly. But on all other pages of the listbox the contents of the listbox invariably vanishes when the MouseUp method is executed -- it just goes blank. I know that the proper list items are selected, and if I click on another control on the same form sometimes the contents of the listbox reappear (and sometimes they don't).

My best guess is that there is something else that I need to save and restore, but I can't figure out what that is. I tried the ListItemID property but this causes even more problems. I have also attempted to attach the method to the various change methods, but the problem persists.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Dirty jokes?

Thanks in advance, Harry
