>I have a standard one-to-many report with a simple two-table data environment. The tables are linked on a common id number. When we print the report from within a form, the first line is not one that should be there. If we preview the report from within the form, the bogus line isn't there. I can print the report from outside the form (from the command window for instance) and the report works just fine. The data environment in the form is identical to the data environment in the report. I have tried removing the data environment from the report and still get the problem from within the form. Any suggestions?

John,

Which table is selected when printing from the form? Is there a FOR clause in the REPORT FORM...? Deleted records? Private datasession?

I've had terrible luck printing reports from more than one table at once, and have had excellent luck printing from a SELECTED cursor with only the data I want, nothing in the report's data environment, and no reference to table/cursor names in the report.
