Oh, I know it's reasonable technically, Doug. What I am doing with this thread is trying to get all of us to think out of the box as far as UI goes. I was fortunate enough not to be born with any disabilities (ugly doesn't count - lol) but a lot of people are or acquire them.

I don't think generic screen readers are the answer.

One of the characteristics is that it will 'read' the active window. I tried it on a little demo program I put together, and it works fine with the !run /n command. OR you can initialize it any where in yout application and it stays resident, reading whatever active screen shows up. The 'voice' is rather mechanical, and you only have two choices, Male and female.
