I've found lately more and more banners in stores where english signs were the same size as the french ones. The government seem to be more tolerant these days.

It's not just banners, if you go shopping downtown Montreal, you have more chances being answered by a salesman in english first (and even in english for the rest of the conversation).

>In theory yes and in practice yes. It's just a matter of being caught or the government finally getting around to you. I totally agree with one of your previous posts, the government should spend more time controlling the debt and lowering taxes and less time controling peoples lives.
