That's an idea, though one might want to create a prefix to differentiate them, something like that. (let's see, I guess we can't use 'c' :)
Anyway, I think I'm finally getting the feeling of the idea here, that Jim & Erik were trying to tell me: Just keep *all* the constants in one header file, even if they're only used one time in one method, instead of declaring them inside a method. It may be a little difficult in design, but one can always print a hard copy of the header and tack it on the wall for reference :)
In the long run, this should be easier for maintenance.
