Greetings Mike

>Are you using subclassed textboxes? If I drop 2 base TBs pn a base form, and only change the value properties (so they have something in them) I can click wherever I want and the mouse goes wher I click.

yes, they are subclassed. But I can't see any relevant differences between the subclass and the vfp base. The only bits I had tweaked were the when and keypress events and I've just reset them to default to see if they were responsible. No joy.

Is there something inherent in subclassing which causes this behaviour?

Harry
