I gave this a try but didn't get the expected results.

My columns *did* stay on the grid. However, the columns act as if they have lost their control sources. For example, column 1 lists the first field from the grid's control source, column 2 lists the second field from the grid's control source, etc. instead of the control sources I assigned to each of the columns.

What am I missing?
