I have never used one myself, but for C programming the animation control is a Common Control (which puts in the same class as the treeview control and the listview control) and so I would assume all the stuff needed to run it is in commctrl.dll (in win\system). It is an integral part of Windows explorer and so I would assume that it is automatically installed in win95 and winNT 4.0. HTH
