Views are updateable. That is, you can keep the information in the views current by using the =REFRESH('ViewAlias') and the REQUERY('ViewAlias') functions. Also they are updateable in the sense that you can change the information in a view and send it back to the table. You have to be using BUFFERING and set the appropriate CURSOR properties but, it can be done.
