Purchased a copy of Visual Source Safe and planned on using it to keep track of program changes and all looks ok so far but I have a few questions about the product.

Appears like the product can only handle text type files like *.prg, *.spr and *.mpr but what if I make a change to a table stucture or index can VSS log these type changes as well and if so how do I set it up.

Noticed as well that the product changes all files included in a project as read only, makes sence to control changes but what happens when I want to rebuild a project and produce a new .exe file ? Do I have to check out the entire project..... doesn't seem right at all ?

Maybe because it's FPW26a and VSS is sooted more for VFP 5.0 and up.

Can someone point me to some good examples of using VSS with VFP or FPW26 ?
