I have a datagrid linked to an Adodc control.
When the user doubleclicks a row, my program transfers data from this datagrid to textboxes on another form.
The user can modify the data and then click the Add button to add this new record to the recordset.
A check for a duplicate record is made before the addition.

I get the following error message when I press the add button:
Microsoft Datagrid control error 2147217842,
the change was canceled during notification, no columns are changed
and the .addNew statement is highlighted
