Sylvain,

>Walter, can you tell me how you would create a SDI application without using a single form as top-level?

In VFP there seems to be no other way, than via a top level window, but this wasn't the question. The question was: "Excuse this simple question, but how can i set window type to SDI"

The answer is simply: Make sure that the MDIform property is False. Unfortunately this won't work for the VFP desktop.

Most windows are SDI by default. In VFP, the Desktop is an MDI form. To make a SDI based application you've to use a top level window. But... Top level windows can also be used to make a MDI application.

Most people do confuse, Top level Forms with SDI forms, But in fact they've totally different features.

Walter,
