That size should be fine.

I would browse the VFP table without any index order set and see if all the records show up there. If they do I would recreate the index tags with INDEX ON and then browse with the index set to see if they are all there. If the records are all there with the index I would try the code again, if it fails you will at least know it is not the table or the index causing the failure.
