The designation of the tray to be used is stored in the .FRX file of the report in question. The .FRX is a data table and can be opened witin VFP. The field that holds the tray number (and other parameters) is "Expr". You can open this file, use string substitution (STRTRAN()) to designate the tray you want and then close the table and execute the report.

There is a tip in FP AdvisorMay 1998 issue that discusses some of these issues.
