Yes... I believe you will have to close the view... remove it from the DE if you are using it. The Article is in the August 98 Fox Advisor.

I think using this method you have to be carefull of girds... since they looses there columns is there record source disapears... you would have to clear the RS of the grid first... recreate the view, the populate the grid properties again.
