Whoops, your right! I just love how Fox puts several commands as both methods and functions (Refresh, Requery & not to mention the view thing....). Yes I need to look closer but I don't use the refresh FUCNTION (s) as a rule of thumb because it cannot be used with locked or buffered records -- plus other restrictions.
Anyone who looks at the Refresh function had better look at the documentation on it first.
