Yes, I knew that The Simpsons was translatted here in Quebec. I've often heard local names in the serie. Did you know that the voice of grandfather was done by late Louis-Jean Millette? He did other characters from this serie also, but I've forgotten wich ones.

They not only translate the scripts, but also the social contexts, meaning that the news reporter Kent Brockman in the US is a German reporter called Kurt Brockman in France's airing of the show.
