I have a form that fills in one main table (log). This table is linked via a unique record number to four other tables (one per table). All works well except....

One of the fields has a combo for filling in the record #... this table needs to be ordered by a unique id # in the table. When I set the cursor property for ORDER to this ID, I assumed that would control the sort order of the combo... it does not. By the way, the combo is set for ROWSOURCE 6-Fields and and the fields are listed in the source. Also in the DE, the relationship is linked correctly between the main table and this file.

The only way I have been able to get the combo sorted correctly is to switch to a SQL for the rowsource but that is causing numberous ohter errors with the form refreshing, table record changes, etc.

Any suggestions on how to get the combo to sort correctly WITHOUT causing all the other errors?
