In our office we have different switches like EWSD (SIemens),Neax (NEC),System12 that uses a PC (terminals) that is use for operations and maintenance. My program replaces this terminals by replacing it with an ordinary PC with an RS232 port. My program capture the data coming from the port and displays it on the editbox of my program , that how simpleit is. In my program i've added a functionality that will record this data into a logfile wherein ican retrieve it for reference purposes make it more user friendly and intelligent than this terminals (GUI interface). Also I'm now in the process of using a protocol analyzer for the decoding signals in order to send command to the switches and i'm very postive that i can do that.
