Sorry about the dumb questions but I'm still a newbie at this SQL thing. I'm curious about how SQL 7.0 server handles this situation.

1. I start a transaction.
2. I've made a couple of updates.
3. My VFP COM server crashes and never commits the transactions.

At some point does the SQL server timeout and issue a rollback? What exactly does SQL server do when this happens?
