I distributed an application (exe) to over 200 locations. By and large the installation went quite well and it is operational.

I have since distributed another application (exe). Several of the location are having printing problems with the second application. The first application reports print fine,the second application does not. The second application locks the computer.

I have tried recreating the file that is used in the print program and overwriting the second application's exe file with a new application exe all with no luck.

One of the printers is a HP4000N and the other is a HP6L. Both printer print everything else without any problem including other VFP6 reports.

Of course the client is asking me what is wrong and to change the program so this will not happen again. Anybody have any suggestion as to why a computer might lock up while printing a VFP report. The other 198 locations are not having any printing problems with the second application.

I am going to suggest they reinstall new printer drivers, but since everything else prints fine, I have my doubts as to whether this will fix the problem.
