The application has schedules for school sports teams etc. He would like parents or students to access it to see games schedules etc. so they do not have to phone the school. These schedules are currently printed as reports. I suppose the reports could be saved in HTML and posted as Web pages.

A simple solution, if all you want to do is put the reports on the web, is Adobe Distiller. You just run the reports to a postscript file - REPORT FORM test noconsole to test.ps
put this file in your adobe "in" directory, and a pdf file will be created in your adobe "out" directory. Your reports will be small, and your users can print them out at home. This is much easier than creating HTML pages and your reports look exactly the same as they do in your application.
Another advantage of this is that you can set up a batch mailer to mail these reports out to your clients as attachments, and anyone with adobe reader can read them.
Good Luck
