Hi Carlos,

About all I can tell you is that SmartSuite has OLE automation capabilities. How they compare to Office, I don't know. However, having worked with their produts through Release 5, I never really cared for them. Different macro languages was just the start. The one thing that got me was that after Release 5, they dropped direct DDE support. All of a sudden I had a bunch of old FPW apps that could no longer "talk" to the necessary documents. Right now we're trying to convince management to switch to Office. Every one I know that has used both, likes Word/Excel much more than WordPro/1-2-3.
