Hi Doug,

Thanks for your input on our problems with getting the Okidata 520ML to print in high speed draft mode in VFP6. Sorry I've taken so long to respond but I was just able today to try it at the client site.

Using the Generic/Text Only driver seems to work fine printing to HP printers. However, when I actually tried it with the Okidata, I either get illegibly small characters and *'s where numbers should be or continuous form feeds, depending on whether I have the Generic printer or the Okidata selected as the default printer when actually printing the report. Part of our problem stems from the fact that many of the reports in question require nothing larger than an 8-point font which just doesn't seem to translate well from the Generic driver to the Okidata.

Am I overlooking something?

Thanks for your help,
Glenn Rainey
