Our application gives the users the ability to create custom reports. This is done by selecting one of the data sources and then selecting fields from that data source. The number of fields and the columns selected determines whether it is portrait or landscape. We have two blank report frx files created one for portrait and one for landscape. At the time of printing these files are hacked to create the headers, footers, detail lines etc.

Well this part all works. The problem is that when we select our fields we determine how many columns they need to display the data and add two to it for spacing between fields. This determines when there is no more room for extra fields. On windows 95 and 98 this works perfectly. The fields all show up. When running this same report on a Windows NT machine, it can drop off the rightmost column(s). We have determined that the problem is that the spacing between the fields is not consistent between NT and (95 or 98). The font being used for both is the same but when printing the report out under both os's the NT side starts moving more to the right with each successive column. This does not happen with our canned reports only with these custom reports.

Any ideas or thoughts???
